Best size I've seen in awhile on the defensive side. Dogs are notorious for starting slow and getting better, this year is different.

Just watched the youtube clip of the Crosby-Nederland game.  Pretty good defense by Nederland, but I was expecting the second coming of a late 90's LaMarque defense the way it has been talked up.
It's not a suffocating defense by any means.
GCM should have their chances.

After watching the whole game over again, that defense line is extremely good, i think down the road nederland might have trouble with a good offensive line and a passing team, i question the secondary, but the dline is very very strong.

They aren't the best defense ever but they will do well because they will disrupt litteraly every play.

I'll take Nederland in this one....
However, I cannot say a shutout.  We might but I do see any real speed behind us, could score on the right play.

I think we need to be careful and realize each game is tough.  And I want to be healthy going into Angleton.  We need to give GCM the respect, after all, these players are on Varsity in the State of Texas and that's no accident.
