I don't think Dayton has had an athlete of the same caliber as A.J. Dugat since that season, including this season.

If I remember correctly he scored probably 6 or 7 of Dayton's 9 TD's that night.  I know for a fact he scored 3 different ways that night via rush, punt return, and reception. I can't remember if he had a passing TD that night or not. Without him, the scoreboard wouldn't have been near as bad a sight to Bulldog eyes.

Smoking baby had to chime in. Dayton didnt have aj when they gave bh their worst beating. Oh yes the sonic special 54-0. One thing the nederland fan is leaving out is we put up 63 without our d1 qb cody green. Could have been alot worse but he was out for the year with an injury.

See the question mark? Could have been much worse. Dustin Hood was one of the best QBs I have ever seen and he did not suit up for the second half. Ryan Butler, who no one could cover, saw limited action. Mosley played sparingly behind a makeshift line.

Micah mosley was the best rb I have seen at ned but then again im sure you have seen plenty others. Oh yeah ned over gcm in alot closer game than people think. One thing that gcm is jeklye and hyde but if their on they havr talent.

We take no one lightly. I'm not a good trash talker, just know what I see. Our defense is the best I have seen at Ned. I put all my faith in a solid defense. Our offense has had a slow start but showed some life last week. I am confident we can score and let our defense get us the ball and limit any scoring by GCM.

Well, they were on Crosby's 7 at the end of the game , and chose not to punch it in.  Also went for a couple of 4th downs to burn clock rather than punt it away.  They went pretty conservative after in the second half after being up 21-0 at half time.
[/quote]really?? they only went for 1- 4th down and were stopped, the rest were quick punts.  to say they were not trying to score the whole second half is crazy.  they were only up 14 in the third, and any team with athletes can score quick. and I am sure your coaches knew that. Yes ran the ball more the 2nd half, to hold on to the ball and run the clock, but still threw. (8 plays in the 3rd, 3 of 8 were passes.) but that is Nederlands game. they might of put up another at the end of the game, but no need to. by the way the game ended on the 12 not the 7.  I just don't think Nederland can score at will. I think they need good starting positions.  I dont think they will put up a bunch of points.... JMO... Everyone on this site talks about the D. not the O. and for good reason.. D will win them games..

I think this game comes to field position.  GCM has a great back, and have been in the same O for a while.  they control the ball. just like nederland.... I dont see this game being a blow out like everyone predicts...  I see this game being very close
