I saw some good things from the defense last week.  I think this group is going to be tough against the run based on what I saw from the d-line and number 51? linebacker.  20 (keener) looks young but definitely has a ton of upside. I think the secondary will continue to progress.  All in all, the defense looked pretty salty for the first game of the season. As far as offense goes, it looks like we're still finding our way.  I would like to see St. Andre used every now and then on the bubble screens to the sideline.  Beyond that, I think like every year, we will continue to see improvement as the team gets more and more reps. 

My pick:  Dayton 30 (3 TD's and 3 FG's) - Livingston 17

This could be a blessing in disquise to get our backup QB's feet wet in a couple of game. But I don't believe Dayton believes that it will be No game. They will be surprise that we are not as big as past, but the heart will still be there. It will be an exciting game, our kids won't lay down, neither will Dayton come in expecting that. I believe it will be a good game for both teams.
