Thats not good at all, harder to come back from more so that an ACL or Meniscus injury (i've had a meniscus tear, crap hurts) i can only imagine what a blown out knee feels like. Didnt that end some NBA player career recently? Shaun Livingston i think?

Recovery time for these athletes now is less than 9 months. He should be ready to go for next year.

dayton
hate to say it,... but the injury could be a blessing in disguise for him. Sounds like he was being spread really thin. it's a lot easier to get hurt when you're fatigued like that.

Had 19 & 17 in their playoff loss to Hardin Jefferson. He wants to play both in college and supposedly that was one of his main reasons to de-committ from Texas. They want him for football only. [/quote]Very few college athletes can play football and basketball. It's just too much of a grind. The last one I remember at D-1 was Charlie Ward at FSU. You also increase your chances of injury. Based on last night, the two sport deal may be out of the realm of possibilities.
BADSANTA
Julius Peppers played both basketball and football and North Carolina. Also Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez, and Antonio Gates played both in college. It can be done but he may just wanna stick with football. He will be a TE in college.
