Really hope he is okay! But am I the only one VERY impressed by the Pius RB? And he is only a sophomore! The kid does not quit driving his feet it's really impressive to watch.

The Kelly vs. Pius game will probably be really ugly this year, but i'm still really excited for it.

Where will this game be played?  I'd love to catch it if at Kelly.

Kelly plays St. Pius twice in district. First game is at Kelly, Oct. 12.

Any Aggie fans like to catch that game with me?  I plan on making it.

Wish I could.  I would love to be at Kyle Firld for the first game of the SEC opener.

According some reports on twitter RSJ blew his knee out on that tackle.  Not looking good
Some people from Sealy are saying the same thing. Thats not good at all, harder to come back from more so that an ACL or Meniscus injury (i've had a meniscus tear, crap hurts) i can only imagine what a blown out knee feels like. Didnt that end some NBA player career recently? Shaun Livingston i think?

Only good thing is that it happened now and not at the end of the year.  Recovery time for these athletes now is less than 9 months.  He should be ready to go for next year.

hate to say it,... but the injury could be a blessing in disguise for him. Sounds like he was being spread really thin. it's a lot easier to get hurt when you're fatigued like that.
how good was he? i didnt know he played bball too.
Averaged 32 points & 15 rebounds for a pretty good Sealy team.  Had 19 & 17 in their playoff loss to Hardin Jefferson.

He wants to play both in college and supposedly that was one of his main reasons to de-committ from Texas.  They want him for football only.

Very few college athletes can play football and basketball. It's just too much of a grind. The last one I remember at D-1 was Charlie Ward at FSU.

You also increase your chances of injury. Based on last night, the two sport deal may be out of the realm of possibilities.

Julius Peppers played both basketball and football and North Carolina. Also Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez, and Antonio Gates played both in college. It can be done but he may just wanna stick with football. He will be a TE in college.
