I think Deweyville has come a long way discipline-wise, people just aren't paying attention. We are definitely more disciplined this year because we want to win without being dirty. Most people don't want to let go of what Deweyville has been and what our reputation was, but I promise it's gonna change this year.

point taken we agree on that but deweyville has had some talent but just dumb mistakes have cost them games not just last years but years before that hopefully they can overcome it this year.

Excellent point, and very true. Been watching the Pirates for some years now and that was the case.  So far this year Coach Babin has them playing hard and focused, he doesn't tolerate any BS. Coach Babin stresses Discipline.

We will see how good they are after friday nite and how many people are still left on the bandwagon........If the pirates win they might have a shot for a good year.........Definitely a measuring stick to see how good of a coach ol' babin really is.  Previous coach had way less talent in Deweyville the last two years and had a shot to beat the wolves both times.  Anyone looks good coaching against Sabine Pass and Evadale........lets see what kind of coach babin is against a veteran head coach and a team full of studs.  Good luck pirates......would like to see ya'll pull the upset.

Speed, size, intensity, hitting its all going to be ratcheted up this Friday.  The Pirates will have to match SA's intensity and not turnover the ball to compete in this game.
