"Rice Bowl" is Back..... HF vs. EC Predictions

The Rice Bowl is back!!!  This is going to be good. The coach that got passed on is the OC at EC. I bet he is licking his lips at this chance to get one up on HF. I am sure he will be pulling out all the tricks and might stay up a little longer looking at film this week. I wish him the best but if the Horns are really turning things around it will be like old times whipping up on the Bucs!!!!!!!!

I am going with my Horns in this one. HF has had two games to work out the kinks on O & D, EC has had only one. I think EC will come in flat and over confident. The game will be close until the 4th QTR and then I think you will see HF pull away from EC
because of their depth advantage. HF fans better get there early as seating is limited and the Band will take up half of that. Good Luck to both squads

Maybe a mild breeze, but we live near the coast we are use to the wind!  If HF thinks EC will play like Anahuac, they are in for a BIG surprise.  I think EC will take the wind out of their "STORM"!!!  ;D

[/quote]You are not mistaken.  They have played 38 times and HF 22 - EC 16.  Hopefully after this Friday will be EC 17  :D :D :D :D

[/quote]In my two years on varsity the BUCS never lost the rice bowl and handed it too them on their homecomming at their place. The horns do lead the series but did not want to play for a few years and could have made the difference. Your talking about the past and now its about what have you done for me lately.

ECFAN#1  HF thinks because they beat Anahuac that they can come to our house and whip us!  It is going to be an interesting game. I have a feeling we will do to them what they did to Anahuac.  :D

You might be right, I should have remembered all of the HF starters that are out due to injuries before I made my predictions. HF has 3 of their starting O-Line out and 2 out on the Defense for this game. This could make a big difference in the outcome of this game. Oh well, I will stick with my original prediction as we were without them against Anahuac and still pulled off a victory. HOOK'EM HORNS  8) ;)

Anahuac didn't look like the Anahuac i have seen the last few yrs. HF has improved but not enough to knock off the bucs.  Even with all your starters I still think Ec wins big.....
