I heard the field house not being ready is why they moved last weeks game to Barbers Hill...I also heard from someone working on part of this project at least that one part was still a long way from being done. I think that part is part of the practice  facility.

why wasnt these renovations done right after the season last year? was there a bond issue and the money came late?

Lumberton may lose every game this year, but the stands will still be full on the home side. After winning only 1 game last year, did you see how many traveled to Barbers Hill? Gotta give it to the Raider fans...their team may suck, but they stick with their boys.

Sorry RaiderGirl92...Silsbee wins this one... The hopeful gleam and sparkle in a teenage boy's eyes about a wish he wished while sleeping soundly in a room decorated with athletic placques and ribbons and posters of NFL players doesn't change the fact that Lumberton doesn't have the personnel this year to beat Silsbee.  Even if E.T. came out of the sky, touched the center of the field with his glowing finger and said, "Win"...the Raiders still lose.
