These kids need to understand there is more to the team than just I. You cannot quit everytime things get tough. If I had gotten pissed at a coach and ran my mouth and quit you can bet there would've been a price to pay when I got home.
does anyone know why he quit?

reason I ask, Vidor had a kid quit after the wos scrimmage that was a potential starter. been playing ball since pee wees. was a senoir. he quit to go to work to help out at home. the kid is working two part time jobs after school. not saying this is the case here, but don't knock a kid for quittting if you don't know the situation behind it. and as a parent with a kid playing, we would discuss it, but ultimately it would be his descision, one that he would have to live with and i would support him no matter what.
Just say a disagreement with the coach and there is no I in team.
then that is a little different. sounds like attitude which imo is unacceptable.

don't misunderstand my previous statement though. just pointing out that sometimes kids give it up due to certain circumstances beyond their control and until now it was only stated that the kid quit and the reason why had not been revealed.

if he really quit due to a disagreement with the coach, then life is really gonna be hard for him.
Well, if that really is the reason then he'll regret it in the long run. What if PN-G makes the playoffs?  :o
big regret if that happens. in fact, later in life, regret regaurdless. hs football was some awesome times for me. great memories and i disliked all of my coaches but one. ;D
Teams that can overcome adversity usually have good things happen, with that being said, yes, there is a slight possibility IMO they could make the playoffs.

when it's all said and done(even though i smack talk them), i think the Indians will be ok. afterall, they have a deep history of producing even when in doubt. just makes em more scary and unpredictable. good luck to the Indians. don't let something like this stand in your way.
What would be funny is if one of those NED WRs thats not getting "due" playing time ends up at PN-G somehow, you know, mailbox address type deal. (just joking but possible)  ;)

I can confirm that 3 players are no longer on the team
I read where one of the players quit to concentrate on baseball.

I just have to question that if this is the case, why even start playing football this year?
They really like the sound of jingle-bells.  ;D ;D

We have several other receivers that are very good. Rose is ahead of chipman in yards caught. Clopton, doing great, and alot of others getting yards on pass. I'm not concerned. Some other good receivers available on the JV as well. Don't forget with a rotating QB AJ is also going out and catching passes. AJ can go way up and grab a ball too. PNG will be just fine, this is just a bump in the road. Yesterdays practice the team looked very good and didn't seem to miss a beat. Team looked pumped up and worked hard.

Peveto didn't quit but chipman did, Peveto is moving to reciever for district. Not like it matters, don't have anyone to get them the ball anyways.

The rumor mill has it that 4 PN-G players have quit the varsity football team including 2 starters tat include Logan Chipman and Peveto.  Have heard this from 3 different sources but can't independitely confirm. Logan was their top reciever for this year. He is suppose to focus on baseball. Hate to hear this and good luck to these young men.
As a WOS fan, if we had anything to do with these young men  quiting, I sincerily apologize. I think that the PNG fan`s  should get some of the blame because they walked out on these kids in the third quarter.
