Would make more since for Vidor to have sent all of the vistors tickets to NHS and let us sell the tickets for them, like we do at MCM. Once the tickets are gone you don't have to show up at the game to findout there are no tickets left.

I dont know how NISD does it...but at MCM, you must show proof of residence to get a ticket on PN-G side. Cuts down on other schools fans getting our seats...not that we dont love other fans sitting with us..but not for MCM...must have every seat for us Indians.  :D

It has been pretty much determined that it was the Nederland ISD was at fault here. We sent yall the same amount of tickets that we do every year. Not our fault if yall sound em all to season ticket holders and such.

There are always gonna be rumors circling around a big game like this but i can tell you that there will not be any excuses for this game. As for any of the rumors i can neither deny nor confirm anything.

My question is why did Nederland decide to start complaining about this now? We, Vidor, has always held back tickets to sell at the gate. That's the way it has been for probably 40+ years now. Why bring it up now? That's like me starting a thread complaining about how touchdown are 6 points when i think they should be 9.

at NISD you have to show proof that you live in NISD to get a ticket for MCM.

Your own fans posted that the homeside is sold out. Nederland is told we can't buy tickets until 6pm at the gate Friday.  The sign posted on the front door of Vidor HS says they will sell you tickets starting 8am Thursday and Friday!!!!!!  So, tell me, who's tickets are they selling then to the Vidor Fans hmmmm? !!!!!

Like when Nederland plays PNG every year the tickets are sold out before the game starts. Nederland sends all it vistor tickets to PNG when they play at Nederland & PNG sends all their visitor tickets to Nederland when we play there. That way if you get a ticket before the game you go if not you you get to listen to it on the radio and don't have to drive to the game to see if you are one of the lucky ones who will get a ticket. I know that Nederland's visitor's side does not have as many seats as PNG'S new and improved stadium so only PNG season ticket holders get tickets for MCM when it is held at Nederland. This is not going to change anytime soon because the OLD FOLKS that live in Nederland will never approve a bond issue for a new stadium as long as they are alive. Guess there are more old folks than us young folks that vote here. Sad but true.

All we are saying Vidor should have sent all the visitor tickets to NHS and if for some reason they did not sell out of them then NHS would have sent the unsold tickets back to Vidor and they could sell them at the gate. No hard to do, just takes a little planning. I do not think that Vidor has done this as some sort of a evil plan on their part. Vidor could fix the problem by sending all the visitors tickets to NHS and let them sell them for them that way they would not have to man their ticket booth before the game.

Oh yay! I always liked the color red!!  Anyways, Nederland fans can go buy tickets at the high school starting Thursday.  I said this on the last thread and I'll say it again.  Every year each school gets the SAME amount of tickets from Vidor.  Now, when those tickets are gone, they are GONE. We do not send anymore.  The remaining tickets will be sold at the school starting Thursday and up until probably 11 am Friday then at the Visitor gate at 6 pm Friday.  The police that patrol that night do not let Vidor fans past the visitor ticket booth, they kindly ask you to turn around and go back to the home side.  Vidor fans are not allowed to sit on the visitor side nor sit on that side.

NDNation I am sorry that our voters will not approve a bond for a new or improved stadium. They will not even approve a bond for new schools that the kids really need...

I said this yesterday and will repeat. We have had season tickets for the last 12 years and have NEVER purchased any away game tickets except for PNG. We also have NEVER NOT been able to buy adult general admission tickets the week of the game!! Maybe this is just to try and say this game really is big hype,NOT. You now will have an entire visitors side(that by the way, buys concessions)that is now ticked off at Vidor! That is the way to build a rivalry, NOT!!!!

No pirategirl4ever Vidor don't have to change anything to make us happy. Just makes since to let the opposing school sell the visitors tickets for you before the game.

PiratesGirl4ever how would you like to drive to Nederland without a ticket walk up to the gate and soon as you get to the gate and they tell you sorry, but we are sold out? Wouldn't you rather Nederland send all their visitors tickets to VHS and let you buy them there so you don't have to drive accorss the neches river just to findout you will not have a ticket for the game and have to drive back accorss the neches back home? I have read the entire thread this morning and hear me say

I was going to post this on the ticket thread but the admin shut it down.  I had a chance meeting today with the folks who are responsible for the tickets and I was assured that the usual amount of tickets were sent to Nederland.  Vidor is treating this game like all others, in all respects, including tickets.  If you are coming from Nederland and want to see the game and dont want to stand in line you can go to Vidor High school starting Thursday and get them.  I was told that the hours were from 8 til 11 and then from 1 to 3 on Thursday and then Friday from 8 til 11.  You can also get them at the gate.  You wont be turned away.  It will be a packed house and standing room only for sure.  Like I mentioned in the other thread, you will want to get there early because of the parking situation.  Other than that, it would be great to get back to watching two quality programs go at it on the field instead of poor sportsmanship in the stands.
