Looking for a Bronco win tonight.  I'm taking my boy to his first football game and he needs to see how much fun it is to destroy the cougars.  Let's go Broncos. Too bad I couldn't convince the old lady to dress him in a CROSBY SUCKS t-shirt.
If his mom lets me I am bringing my little cousin. He lives in Dayton right now but he's only a 4th grader. He's right at 68" and a shade over 200 lbs. He's from Crosby but moved for his mom's job. His dad is about 6'4" and 240. I'm expecting him to be an all-state candidate on the d-line. He'll be a lot bigger than Wright but the production like it is for so many of muy family members will be the question. Boy told me he doesn't want to go to Crosby cause he doesn't want to be a loser. Hopefully tonight changes that, if not I'll just kidnap him and bring him back to CISD  to play with his older cousin. I'm going Cougars in a classic.
Smart kid!! :o ;D
He is. He has 7 cousins that will all go to Crosby though. Three of my sons, two of my nephews and two more of my cousin's kids. Hopefully if he stays in Dayton he doesn't regret it, especially if he has to play my oldest boy.

Dayton vs crosby is the game to make for any casual fan. Its the one game of the year I actually get nervous. There is no love lost on these to teams and even though dayton has a excellent record against crosby lately, crosby has been the one team in our district that has the athletes to match up. I just hope we see a clean game with limited turnovers and penalties and may the best team win. One side not no matter what happens tonight if all the stars aligned right this could be a rematch in the quarter finals. I know it would be a long shot but I bet it would sell out stallworth.
Nah- Vidor would take them out before we could get to em !
vidor was big school last year.
That's right. Y'all could be too this year. For the first time Dayton has a higher listed enrollment than Crosby, so does King, SC, and Kingwood Park. We might be able to finally get a chance to go small and avoid the Dawson's, Nederland's, and Montgomery's of the region. La marque is 3a which knocked us out of the playoffs twice when I played. One year they beat us I thought we had the best team in 4a, La Marque did end up winning state that year though.

Dayton did win the region as a d1 school in 07. I feel confident no matter what division dayton goes in. I just think it would be crazy if dayton and crosby were to meet in quarter finals. Lets just call it a pipe dream.

Which team has the better shot to make post season KP or the Hill? I figure these two will decide which direction Dayton goes. Thanks
Still to soon to tell.  But KP shows to have a good D.  BH still trying to find themselve in the dark.

This is on my toupsgraphics website...
If the following schools make the playoffs (taking PN-G over Central as the #4 finishing school) then....
19-4A #1 Dayton (div 2) #2 Summer Creek (div 1) #3 Crosby (div 2) #4 Kingwood Park (div 1)
20-4A #1 or #2 Nederland (div 1) #1 or #2 Vidor (div 2) #3 Ozen (div 2) #4 PN-G (div 1)
If that occurs, the bidistrict pairings will be...
Div 1 Nederland - Kingwood Park and PN-G - Summer Creek
Div 2 Dayton - Ozen and Crosby - Vidor
If the scenario above occurs then Dayton and Crosby would be Div II.

I think they should be given a time for comments.  I'd like to hear their thoughts.

Take away the turnovers and this would have been a closer game.
Take away all the pooch kick-offs and it would have been alot worse!!

Yep,remember I called it that Crosby would do what SS did, pooch kick every time to avoid the run back/great field position.True dat Crosby had turnovers but we had several possessions we were flat on offense. You could tell in the warm-ups Crosby had practiced all week on the corners & underneath stuff. It opened up after the bombs started yeilding 6.We need to keep throwing the darn ball w/recievers w/great hands/wheels even if we have to implement a jumbo pkg on 3rd down for pass protection or 4 yds 8)

Play of the game was the kid who jumped on the ball when chambers threw it behind his self to the 4yd line. Very next play dayton connects for 96 yd td. Play till you hear a whistle. Gald he did everybody else kinda just looked at the ball.

Good win.  I've seen the broncos play better.  Defense will need to tighten up.  51 needs to get the cramps under control.  60 and 6 are gonna look like men playing against boys for the rest of the year (those two are about to light it up).  Offense will need to keep progressing.  This team has all the signs of a good one.  I'm looking forward to watching this group make a run.

oh yeah, hey crosby.....in the words of my buddy Tyrone, "how's that dictate"?

Knock em out the box bronx.
