VP93.... Posted September 16, 2012 Author Report Posted September 16, 2012 Also, sending prayers to the LC kid #30 who broke his thumb. Get well soon.
mrsgiggles Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 LC #30 is our 3rd injury. #10 re-injured his knee at the beginning of 2nd quarter and didn't return and another boy injured his wrist last week against PNG-P and won't be back for about a month. They only started the season with 17 boys. I feel bad for these kids.

BUT 3 of our boys are OL. We have 11 for defense (we have 2 boys that are week to week due to injuries). If 1 gets hurt we play with 10, which is what we did Saturday until another injury happened. Game had to be called.
Gusher Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 I know it is not the end of the world type of stuff but IF a team is short on players and is not able to field a full team why not have the other team agree to play with 10 also. That way players get to play and it is not a huge advantage for the other team. Now I guess it would go down in the standings as a loss but atleast the players from both sides get to play.
