When you say they didn't show up do you mean they got their butt kicked??  It's easy to say you didn't show up every time you get beat.  I went to the game.  Newton got out played and didn't tackle very well last year.  The better team won.

We didn't suit up 3 starters 1 offensive 1 defensive and 1 both and our starting safety got knocked out on the first play of the game.. Our qb just didnt have his mind in the game that first quarter and we have too many turn overs.. We will get the kinks worked out and be ready for Newton when the time comes. But right now we will take it one week at a time.

[/quote] Kirbyville been missing key players since week zero...so what!!! Quit making excuses. HJ Jefferson defense dominated y'all. Im willing to bet EC will be fighting for third...no way they stop Haywood, Cooper, Jacko And Sexton ;)
