What does it matter it they have speed or not. The scoreboard doest know the difference between speed and it decides who wins the game.

So then why are they a ONE man show? Don't give me the same crap Brandyb has said. This is youth football and unless your "daddy balling" it or showing "favortisem" why would you not give all those other kids the same opportunity to show their speed and capability? 

BTW I know the coach does not have a kid on team but I'm sure "dad" aint far away from him. :)

I can't answer that question but like I said I do know they have fast kids! My son is friends with a few of them and from what the kids have told him is that # 1 is the fastest followed by #14. I am not sure who the "beast" is or how fast he is?  I am sure like you, daddy's are never far. That's what you get when you play sports outside of school.

I'm just saying that the scoreboard for them reads 101-0. Speed or no speed, what's it matter their getting the job done.

[/quote]I would not say they are begging to quit, but they are confused just like everybody else..If  the Lumberton -B  coach was at the game (Sat) he seen that these coaches make zero adjustments on offence or defence, and he was there..I have seen this blue team play and have freinds that have tape on this team..[glow=red,2,300]I gave an opinon yesterday on what D to run [/glow] but nothing has changed...The mistakes we made in the first 3 games have not been worked on in practice..[glow=red,2,300]Our head coaches philosophy is if he stops his program now HE will look stupid..I will staGy with this win or lose ..This is out of his mouth[/glow]...Seems to me not a whole lot of concerns with what the kids are going through..All you can do is try to keep your kids postive, and hope and pray these guys do not take the passion of the game from some of these kids..Good luck Dogs and I hope  we can pull one out..Bubba Sonnier

I have said since the first game to the last game STACK the middle and you can beat them. They have no speed and all they do is pound the the middle. They do not run out side much at all and from all the video i looked at they dont pass much either. They have started EVERY game with a fullback dive. (They run that play 90% of the time) The only thing is you will have to score and from what I have seen it will be hard to. Their D is very good.

You are making yourself look silly. The fullback (#7) is one of the fastest kids in the league.. Plus he is huge and very powerful. And #1 is very fast also. They haven't had to utilize their speed because no one has stopped their power.

Great post.  You know, when I grew up, the coach was ALWAYS right.  It had something to do with that, uhm, respect thing.  What does it show when we teach kids if they don't like what the coach is doing, to change it themselves.  I guess they'll show up at school now and tell the teacher they don't like how they're teaching.
