Just heard a rumor that the Jasper head baseball coach has been reassigned.  Any truth to this?

No rumor. That is the case. One of Jasper's assistants will take over duties as head baseball coach.

That is crazy. It has to be hard on the boys. Jasper's program will do fine, but this is one of the better jobs at a 3A school in Texas. The baseball program has so much support within the community and from the sounds of they have a lot of talent coming up in the next several years. Whoever gets the permanent gig next year should have a good future in Jasper.

It is great that Coach Smith gets a chance to run the show for a year. Good luck.
