WOS Vs. HF Predictions!

First it was, "oh LCM is a better team this year", then it was, "WOS can not beat PNG", then we heard "No way WOS beats Central, they are too big and too fast", after all that we heard "Jasper is scoring 50 points on everybody, WOS don't stand a chance".

Man, you have got to tone it down.  Opponents should always be respected, even if you are confident about winning.  To say we will dominate everyone on our way to state is over the top.  I share your view that our district is not very strong, but remember we took HF lightly last year and let them hang around with a chance to win it.  We have to earn it on the field.  Until then, we haven't done anything yet (in terms of district play).  Don't overlook anyone, especially HF and Silsbee.  Furthermore, do you really know how good the teams are outside of our district?  I can tell you with confidence there are several 3A teams in this state who are good enough to beat us.  I like your enthusiasm, but your projection is WAY too premature.

I wish you would just stop and let the team's performance do the talking. Every year we start looking good and a few of you chest beaters show up and start running your yaps in overdrive. It doesn't represent the program well and it just makes everyone hate us more instead of pulling for us when we actually have a shot. Then we lose, you mouths disappear like a fart in the wind, and the rest of us are left here to watch people talk about all that premature crowing. We get it, defense wins championships and the Stangs are playing great defense again. Just let it happen.

That is what you don't seem to understand - NO ONE has questioned whether WO-S is good or playing well. The results speak for themselves, better than [i]you[/i] ever will. You are coming off like a jerk. Others, other WO-S [i]faithful[/i] at that, have politely asked you to put a cork in it and you just don't seem to get it. There is a difference between winning and winning with class - a nuance that has escaped you.
