Nederland did a good job of keeping the Vidor offense on the sideline.  The Dogs had the ball most of the half with 2 long time consuming drives.  Vidor has some penalties that hurt.  Both teams are playing hard, should be a great 2nd half

Great half. Very surprised that Nederland has not stretched the field more. Pirates are stacking the box often and blitzing quite a bit. Pirates are hanging in there and have attempted several passes but Nederland secondary has done well with staying home.

YES... Really. Outdated stadium!!

Very impressed with both defenses. Both team had "almost TDs" on their first offensive play from scrimmage. I think Nederland is playing too conservative on offense, but we are controlling clock. The key to this game will be getting to 10 or 14 BEFORE the Pirates get to 7 in my opinion. Much respect for both defenses! Great game and great atmosphere!
