Doesn't really matter to me which way we go...we just need to play our game and get into the playoffs. I'm still not counting the Indians out by any means. I wouldn't give them the props before the game, but Ned is one of the elite teams in the state this year with the best team I can ever remember them having. I'm not gonna hang my head about the loss tonight one iota and neither should our kids. Given all the controversy we've had in the last week as a team and not really knowing how good we were compared to who we have been playing, I am extremely proud of my Pirates. Whale of a game. Nederland at home will beat Livingston by 3 touchdowns...and yes Buddy Garrity, I will take that bet.

I kept reading earlier how PNG was going to BLOW OUT the L-Train, what I saw was more a little bit of a breeze. Both team made mistakes and both teams stayed in it until the end. PNG got the win, but that's at least one team that has seen that L-Town has something brewing in there. I ain't going to lie, I was shocked when I made it to the game and saw that not only were the Raiders not down, they were actually tied with the Indians, both teams kept the game interesting. Hope my boys play Central next week like they played the Injuns.

Lumberton played a good game. I feel they have the ability to sneak up on a few teams and take some wins. Ya'lls backs are very quick. Don't underestimate Lumberton. They are better than some expect. Very scrappy and aggresive.

Oh don't get me wrong i'm not scared and neither is Vidor but if its possible to face someone other than SC and Dayton in round one i'm gonna hope for it. But if it happens i will definitely cheer my pirates onto victory.

we would have to be the d2 #2 seed in order to face Dayton in round 1. which basically means we finished 3rd or 4th in district. don't see that happening. we will be either D1 #2 wich will likely get SC or D2 #1 in which case we wouldn't see Dayton until quarter finals. but hey, we got alot of football to play first. you never know how it's goona pan out.

No offense to vidor, but if you draw either team, dayton or summer creek it will end up the same and that will be a loss. Both teams are that good. I liked what I saw from teams last night, but vidors scrappy defense won't be able to hang with either of them. More than likely I will be watching on an opposing sister team as my ndns will be watching from the stands.

As for livingston, they will not beat vidor or nederland, watched them against silsbee, and they did what we didn't do and that was let Silsbee get the win from behind. Collins can't do it all by himself, we will get burnt out by the second half just as he did in silsbee. Depending on what ozen does they may have fourth place locked up. Only seen ozen once and they looked descent, but by no means are they not beatable. As we all know anything can happen on Friday or Saturday nights.
