PhatMack19 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Big game @ Lumberton next week. ;) The loser may end up with a perfect season.

uandme08 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 I'm at a loss for words after that game. So much talent on both sides of the ball.

Those aren't bad losses. Lumberton had scored 8 total points on the season before putting 25 on PNG tonight. That tells me more about how bad PNG's Defense is this year than how good Lumberton's offense is.

panther blue Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 If central play with the intensity, they played with against ozen, they will win the game against lumberton. keep your heads up. go jags !!
BrenhamFan Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 If this continues, we might have to put Soulja on suicide watch.....

biaplayer Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 They may actually put a w up against port neches. This png team may be the worst excuse for a defense I have ever seen. Nederland will hang 50 on us, vidor will hang 35 on us ozen is gonna break the record book for a single season game rushing record. Lcm is gonna run down our throats. I'm at a loss for words, lol stands weren't even half full. Our big huge offensive line couldn't stop the three 160 lb rushers from getting pressure on the QB. The young qb broke his hand, AJ came in and did a ok job up until the handoff to the blitzing raider, looked like a nfl highlight goof for a fumble to the house for 6points. That maybe the only district win we see. It will be a long couple of weeks. Guess we will have to wait for next weeks game to see the next round of follies, hopefully AJ got a lil confidence and can carry it on into next weeks game.

No matter how good the offense is, you are not going to be competitive allowing those kind of points week end and week out.

Texasminuteman Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 If Liberty can pull out a win,so can Central. ;)
mytwocents-28 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Dang. What happened at central? I mean for real. They used to be consistent year in and year out playoffs and all now they're the floor mat. What happened? This is a serious question by the way.

[/quote]well some of those games, the score doesn't tell the truth on how bad central looked. against PAM,yes the score was close, but there was no doubt that PAM would win the game. sounds crazy,i know. first score was a scooped fumble. next score,PAM not once, not twice.but three times bailed central out on 3rd down,on PAM's side of the field due to penalties. they should have punched it in after 3 3rd downs from the 35 of PAM lol. they scored on a drive they actually earned late in the game. otherwise. PAM's offense moved the ball with ease between the 20's and killed themselves with turnover on downs from dropped passes,overthrown/under thrown, and one pick.against brook it was a follies tape smh lol.
Tim Riggins Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Central will win a game or games this year. The games they have lost have been to quality opponents. Teams would be advised not to sleep on the Jags.
CATS80 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Yes They will win the next game for sure

They scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery (I believe it was our only fumble of the night) and missed the PAT. Two of the other three touchdowns came on big plays very early in the game that we did not let happen again. Our defense adjusted and Lumberton's offense put up only one more touchdown the rest of the game. PN-G showed improvement this week, and I think this is one of those games where the score wasn't really an accurate reflection of the game.I'm not counting Central out for the rest of the year, but I do think Lumberton will win this game. Didn't they beat Central last year?
