biaplayer Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 AJ had probably his best game of his career. Did an outstanding job ! Threw some good passes and showed a lot of touch. Looked very good last night both throwing and running the ball.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 welp, Smith is the starter now i see. Hope PNG has an electric WR somewhere on the REZ.
pngfan66 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 I feel this game was a big confidence booster for AJ. He made some great passes and runs. Even if Walker comes back and takes snaps you have to deal with AJ at receiver. In the Lumberton game AJ went up and caught a pass with one hand. Looked like he palmed it. Great dual threat player.

Shamrock28 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Exactly what I was thinking!!!!
jenks Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 That's to bad about Walker. He is a fine young man. We really miss him at HF.
prepballfan Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Congrats to AJ for finishing the game strong for the Indians.

incognito Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Good win for the home Tribe...L-Train or not, they'll take it. ;)

dmeast11111 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 Offense not the problem... Defense line got very little pressure and secondary made lymberton receivers look like Calvin Johnson with an usain bolt twist....
pngfan66 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 D line played gap containment for the run. Also the d line had 4 sacks. I would say that was decent.
dmeast11111 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 What ever they played...not very good....lumberton is not a good team.... Only scored 8 pts all season.... 25 against PNG d....PNG Defense just not as good as years passed.... Not an insult just truth....I am a PNG fan.... Gotta do better in this district this year.....
biaplayer Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 I gotta agree defense hurt us. It was bad against them, I can only imagine what it will look like on down the road. For some reason the defense isn't what we would like it to be. It seemed like everytime lumberton ran the ball they were moving the chains. I'm not gonna dwell on it too much a win is a win no matter how ugly it is. Hope the soph qb makes a speedy recovery, but for now it is AJ 's time to shine. Hope he can learn from last weeks game and continue this week. He made some very good plays and one or two bad ones. No need to look back, ndns just need to move forward and keep their heads up and go with it.
badndn Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Yes, Bia, I agree AJ looked more assertive running the ball. He made more good plays than he did poor plays with his arm and legs. LCMs defense looks like they are having similiar troubles as ours. Could be a high scoring afair which we have become accustomed to lately. Lets hope we outscore 'em and move to 2-0.
