Appreciate y'all helping us out last year getting into the playoffs. As you could see, we certainly knew what to do with it!! Had lots of fun visiting Pirate Stadium that night against Livingston in Vidor last year. We felt VERY welcome!! ;D That being said......we're certainly looking forward to seeing "'Q' and the gang" at the "Butch" friday night. Should be another classic like last year's game!!! ;)


FYI: Some key players from the Pirate and Panther football teams joined together for workouts over the summer at least twice. Once at each team's weight room, tearing down stereotypes, prejudice, and ignorance along the way!!! #BOOM ;)

What's with all this love making between the pirates and panthers? I had to check and make sure I was on the right site. Where's the smack talk? This is high school football people!

Vidor by 75 or Ozen by 200...

What's the world comig to? First Destiny's Child breaks up and now this! A brother doesn't have anything to believe in...  :o

Yeah I am sure we would have! Ill be at the Vidor playoff games if they dont conflict with Ned so maybe at one of those we will meet..

You  have to have much respect , for a class act when a coach and team win a game, when they were already in the playoffs, that helps your team make the playoffs. That's where the renewed friendly rivalry comes from. go panthers !!

Friendly rivalries are usually the ones where one team dominates the other, the REAL rivalries generally aren't friendly ones.

The new found friendships and respects are great but that has to be put on pause for 48 mins. after the game you can love each other all you want but the game is business. good luck to both teams but more to the panthers

Vidor is in need of a rival... Why not the Panthers??? I heard the Panthers are very fast... I know for a fact the Pirates are a very good football team...

Aint not friends in football. That's like smoking a good piece of chicken and then pouring A-1 steak sauce all over it. It just wasn't meant to be.....but some of us do it anyways.
