By sch strength thus far best team they've played Jasper=they're higher than they should be.If you want to count Scrimmages as a win, which they don't answer is still Nada Dayt handled Ned/FW real good in scrimm. Not makin a case for Dayt either we're not quite a #3 team in Setx just yet

What sux is most likely dayton sc vidor ned will meet in the first round. Which means 2 of the top 20 teams in the state will be home after week one. Oh yeah and wos is the best 3a team lets leave it at that. No doubt they could play with anyone though.

Yeah i know that what sucks lol. But don't worry Vidor and Ned will do well in representing SETX in rounds 2, 3, 4 and so on and so forth.  ;)

They are good no doubt but i don't think they are in the level of PAM, Ned or Vidor.

FootballCrazy1990...haven't you learned anything about this season?  Don't you realize that scrimmages prove EVERYTHING?  It doesn't have to be a real game to determine who's better.  Follow the logic here...

...Vidor nudged WO-S in a most important practice
...Nederland beat Vidor in one of those games that count
...WO-S edged Nederland in another glorified drill...and there is no other conclusion but the following:

WO-S is not on the level with Vidor. Don't you get it?  How can anyone miss that?

Based on the season so far? Do you think can WOS can beat any team in the area? My opinion is they can
To answer the question in the title, no. But that's not saying they won't be at the end of the season.

To answer your second question, I think WO-S is capable of beating a lot of teams in this area. On any given night, it could happen. In a one gamer, lot's of things can happen.

I still say PAM, Dayton and La Porte would beat WO-S and Nederland and Vidor would definitely have a good shot at beating the Mustangs. I even think my Silsbee Tigers will have somewhat of a shot of beating WO-S.

I think WO-S is one of the best teams in our area (I have then #3 in my rankings this week behind #1 PAM and #2 Dayton). Are they the best team? Not yet. ;)

The only team that might be better is Memorial. Honestly, I'd but the Titans and Mustangs about on par with each other. Nederland and Vidor might give WO-S a good game, but the Mustangs would win without a doubt.

I do think WOS is one of the best teams in the area, but if you are going by there 5-game schedule so far.  There non-district consists of LCM (1-3) PNG (2-2) Central (0-4) and Jasper (3-1).  I believe Jasper is the only for sure playoff team in those four, and they will probably not win there district.  HF is HF.  Most years this would have been a tough schedule, but not this year.  I think the best 5A team in the area is Memorial, the best 4A teams in the area is Vidor, Ned, and Ozen, and the best 3A team in the area is NON CONTESTED WOS!!!!!  Im really not considering LaPorte, Livingston, and Dayton in the area. JMO.  P.S. Dont sleep on Silsbee!!!!!

Get real! WOS is good! And they are the best in their district. But, not best in the area. It took turnovers and bad coaching for them to get 14 on a team that Ozen could have very easily dropped 70 on! PAM and WB would beat them. Nederland, Ozen, and Vidor would beat them. So the answer is a resounding NO!

I understand the excitment at WOS but there seems to be alot of teenage like statements comming from over there. Yes they are a good team but I truly believe that Silsbee will give them all they want and then some. Dont jump the gun Nederland Vidor SC Dayton PAM Laporte would most likley beat the Stangs and Sisbee and Ozen could be trouble for them.

It's not a matter of what opponents they have in common. WO-S is basically sporting a college defense; last I checked, 6 of the 11 starters have DI offers and they've recorded three shutouts on the season against quality opponents. The only aspect of WO-S I'd be worried about in a game against Nederland or Vidor would be their offense, which is talented but somewhat inexperienced and inconsistent. Nederland and Vidor might be able to exploit that but I don't think either offense would be able to score enough against WO-S's defense to take full advantage of it.

WOS is one of the best 3A teams in SETX.  They will be around when the playoffs come, and then we will see if they are the best 3A team in our area.

I also can't say that they could absolutely beat all of the 4A or 5A teams around.  Who knows, there may even be a 2A team that could sneak up on the right night and beat them.

After watching the Trojan roller coaster this year, I am a firm believer that high school teams can win or lose on any given day.  Some teams are better, and will most often come out on top.  Some teams are worse, and will normally lose.  But, you never know.
