Hey ECBucFan, help spread the word.  Friday night is free wristband night for EC football players!
LOL Warren is paying for them. Good try.
Most people dont know this but I am actually an EC Alum!  I remember back when i was in school the rice festival was a big distraction for the players that week.  Of course, not many really cared about football back then either!  Yall think it still is a distraction?
What year did you graduate? I think it is a distraction that is held to a minimum. Out of school that Friday which means kids can be out at the rice festival until midnight on Thursday. I would not want to play Newton on rice festival weekend.

I don't know if he normally does it or not but thought it was pretty neat to see Mr. Roberts working the chains for the 7th and 8th grade games tonight.  Kudos young man.  Not many would be doing that with the fair next door.

I graduated from Warren in '93.  We had a decent squad, and East Chambers was a basketball school then.  The football program was pretty weak.  Now, I have a nephew on the EC squad, and it hurts me to hope he gets to make a big playoff run.

Since you aren't interested in the free wrist band night, I guess we will use the money at the "beer garden" after the game.  East Chambers has always had classy fans. I figured a little humor would not hurt.  I hope our boys got humbled against Newton last week and come out Friday eager.
Warren has always had classy fans also, the only time I've seen Warren fans get into it was in youth football when HJ youth football recruited a player from Lumberton a couple of years ago. Warren was giving HJ a hard time and I loved it. Of course everyone was giving HJ a hard time over that.
