mytwocents-28 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Are we talking about passing QB's? Cuz if we aren't if we are just talking QB's then i have to throw Montana Quirante in the pot.

He has an excellent arm, and great speed and quickness. Coldspring is mostly a running team, but he is a big part of their success. He doesn't have super numbers anywhere except the stat that counts - WINS.

AggiesAreWe Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 I am not saying Silsbee's Reed is the best QB in the area, but so far he is having one of the better year's amongst the other local QB's
pinelandflash Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 I agree the running QB should be included.I'm hard put to find any other 1A area QB that's having a better season than WS's Lacey in my opinion. If there is let me know and I will humbly concur.......lolpassing23/42/608yds. 8TD 2INT rushing53car.573yds. 7TD1181 total yards (295.3 total yards per game)15 total TD4INT on defense as well

mighymouse490 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 i say the best qb is the one who means the most to their team. in other words, i would throw in carson raines. if he is loss for the season, nederland becomes VERY suspect. another one is montana q. vidor will go far as long as he is healthy. both are impressive. PAM's fisk is good...our back up qb is good also and is a junior. PAM would not be in that much trouble if fisk was to go down...a drop off yes,but still should compete. those are my 3.
AggiesAreWe Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 If Reed went down, it would be very tough for Silsbee.Over 1500 total yards in first 5 games. That would be tough on any team to lose.

You have to consider that as well.

GoDogs27 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 I can only judge by what I've seen. Carson Raines has the ability to put it on the money. He's scary good sometimes but the consistency isn't quite there. Montana Quirante is a beast. Who cares if he doesn't throw? That's not their offense. He is still a QB! Quirante is high on the list in my opinion as well. Not saying these two are the best in setx, but they are the best I've seen.
tvc184 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Whoever it is, he is probably better than Romo.

GoDogs27 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Lol hey! No ragging in my 'boys! 3 of those weren't Romo's fault. Talk about the unluckiest team in the NFL...

Yeoj Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 The best QB in the area is Robert Mitchell! He just happens to play on the worse coached team in the state. This kid will make some serious noise for whatever college gets him.

If he was at another BISD school .........nevermind....
PAMFAM10 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Fisk Is The Most Explosive qb ....Who Gets better game by game... but i wouldnt say hes the best in area ..........not just yet 8)
badndn Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Reed is the best QB not including the kid from SC. Q from Vidor is MVP, but that offense still moves without him under center, I've seen it. Now take him away from that defense and Vidor is in trouble. Remove Reed from the Silsbee Offense and the bottom would drop out!
