ST413 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Posted October 2, 2012 Along with Haynes and Jenkins, playing Nederland varsity right now in the second of back to back games.

AggiesAreWe Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012
10
Many underclassmen I assume.
ST413 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Posted October 2, 2012 yes Brooks, Hardeway, Willis, one guard I remember from jv or freshman and one more.
ST413 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Posted October 2, 2012 In this second game, Nederland's ball movement was too much for a tired Tiger team. The Tiger's appeared to have expended most of their energy in hard fought game with Memorial. It was an interesting evening as far as officiating as they were training new refs. In some of the games they would sub in new sets of refs every few minutes and they would recieve lessons even during play.

The refs need training, why not do it during the fall scrimmages? The teams (most of them) are not playing with all 5 starters and learning what players can play and it what roles they can play. Glad to see the refs getting some game time training and instruction.
ST413 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Posted October 2, 2012 I agree completely, just said it made for an interesting evening. There were a few bad calls but nothing bad. Only thing I thought they might have done a little different was stop the clock a couple times when this delayed the inbounds or something like that.
fisherman2 Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 Kelly played Nederland Black I think it is and won by 9 not WOS. Maybe you have a JV score.
