Pop up adds

Am I the only one that's going crazy these adds are driving me crazy  not very I pad friendly!pop up adds that is.

I'm on an IPad. I haven't seen any pop ups.

Trust me! I have seen over 100 PF them this week on my IPad! Some are political and some are for Ford.

Yes, they are driving me nuts, on IPad.  But it is a very short drive    ;D

I'm getting them on my phone but they just black out half the page and I can't read post.

I know a few people who don't visit here anymore because of this site's history of pop-ups and viruses.  'Thought all of that was taken care of previously.

I can see where over 80 companies are landing online displays on this site to to the high traffic. Basically they are using this site for ads because of the click thru volume. Im willing to bet money this site gets 20 times the traffic of the BMT Enterpise sees per day. this site is a gold mine for advertisers.

My IPad has become useless on this website.  I keep having to refresh Safari because the pop ups are covering the postings.  After about 4-5 refreshings it finally stops until I toto a new topic then the pop-ups are back.

I have the new Samsung Galaxy S111 phone..Pop ups are killing me, I could not hardly get on friday night to check scores >:(

All last week on my phone there was a ad dropping down covering the top half of the pg.. it was a ad with steve jobs on it... was very annoying..

They are killing me today on my iPad.. I wish they could stop them it's very annoying. Iam about to give up looking at the site. One blocks out half the screen and the other the whole screen.

Please folks, do not give up on us. We are trying to get a hold of the problem. I know how annoying it can be but we are trying to take care of it.

It is coming from one of the online ad companies that we use. Trying to figure out which one and solve the problem.

Please be patient with us, may take some time.

I've been able to get around this by stopping the page from completely loading.  Most of the time the ads are the last to come up, so once you see the threads or post, stop the page from loading.

This may not be possible, depending on your Internet speed.  I have a slower DSL connection, so it works for me.
