of all my years watching mustang football i cant think of no LB at wo-s who  picked off a pass and took it 99 yards for a TD this must be a school record.this young man plays 112% each play and one of the best LB in the state in 3a and we all were in shock by his speed going in for the td, maybe van wade can ck this one out

Kevin Smith vs West Columbia 1987 had a 106 yd INT return.  I believe that is the longest in school history.

Joe is a great player, great kid (at my age everyone is a kid), and great team leader. He deserves all the accolades and honors he gets.
