Major question for Bluedove

Since Yates had 25 players suited up, how did this "invincible" team lose to a Beaumont school?  You have always implied/suggested that this was simply impossible.

Yes, we read.  But we also often read all of your commentaries on Yates- and there is NO COMPARISON.  If your comments regarding Centrals "all star" status are true, then surely, you are predicting an undefeated walk through district for them?

[/quote]Not saying they will go undefeated. I think they will lose a game or two in district. Doesn't matter because they will make the playoffs in the current system anyway. I keep telling people, Central is good. And you know I've only been wrong in 3-4 of my predictions out of 100 chances. ;D

Then perhaps we can look at it another way.  Another way, in fact, that you ought to relish.  Since Yates would beat HJ by 30 or 40, can we conclude that Central will beat Hj by at least 35 or 45 if they meet in their early season game as they have the last several years?

Why would HJ match up well with a team that beat Yates and yet would lose to Yates by more than 30?

Please gentleman don't read too much into the whole super16 extravaganza. Yes it was a competitive tournament but playing in these types of games without the real head coaches means nothing. We all know the head coaches will put players where they should be and not where they wanna be. Still congrats to Central, proud of them they represented for SETX.

[/quote]Good points! I'm really proud of Central. I keep telling my hometown people in Houston S.E.Tex has some young talent coming. As huge as Houston is in basketball population, S.E.Texas has numerous players ranked with Houston area players.
