It was. LH actually drove it down Celina's throat all night but turned it over alot.

Na, If you look at Celina's schedule they didn't have a rough road at all until the State Championship. Region 3 is the toughest. Now next year Celina has 16 starters back.

this was a great game from the opening kickoff. with both teams using mainly the power running game, it was over in about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Hey Coop,

I know your a big wos fan, but why are you bashing Celina so much?  They have a super program up there.  If you know anything about GA Moore and others up there, you would learn that they have a very good program to build good, decent, character.  Prayer is a big part of their program and in these days, that is overlooked by a lot of teams. Good job Celina, for a team up from 2A.  Let's watch for next year.

Not bashing. Just pointing out that they have a much weaker schedule in the playoffs than other teams. They do have a great program. Dave Campbell even said their region is weak.

Their region may have been weak, but a three point loss in the state championship is not too weak.  Starting Qb wasn't 100% either.  Weak region or not, this program is close to SLC just in a different division.
