Dayton VS SC by the #'s

I seriously think this game could go either way. Being serious for a moment, I think BH, Dayton, and SC should all 3 have some good games. The difference is the big play on any down with SC and Dayton. BH not so much. It will be an exciting last couple of weeks and hope for no injuries. That way we can go sweep 20-4A! ;D

[/quote]i agree particulary with the no injuries part. I hope all our 19 4a teams can go into the playoffs healthy. Last night was the first night dayton got to field all their starters since the crosby game. I hope it stays that way.

Keener is no doubt a heck of a ballplayer. I kept asking why he wasnt getting snaps on this forum and someone said he didnt want to qb. I will say though that chambers has earned the right and is a good qb but if what you say is true and the attitude is an issue theres no doubt keener is plenty good enough to do the job.

I've been keeping up with HS football for a long time and this is no shot at Dayton, but why are you sitting out kids during district games to save them for other district games. I don't get it? The only thing I can think of is maybe some of them have minor injuries and they don't want to aggrevate the existing injury? Put your best players on the field every week. Please help me understand this Dayton concept.

OK, I must have misunderstood. It sounded from several posts that they were. That makes more sense.

From what I have heard dayton had some players with nagging injuries. I also think that this year dayton has enough depth to let those kids get 100% and still win games. The game against ck daytin actually ran the wildcat almost the entire second half. Im sure it wasnt because they had to but the game was in hand. Dayton is getting alot of kids playing time that will pay off in the future.

I was thinking the same thing TradinUp! If you keep saving kids for the big games then they are going to lose alot of in game experiance that you just can learn in practice. Sitting on the sidlines will hurt these guys more than help them compete when needed.

I haven't understood it either....from what I hearing it's been nagging injuries and possible character issues...I hope it's not the latter.  Practice isn't games and I'd like to see the QB (whoever he may end up being) get as much game experience before the playoffs as possible.  As fun as it is to goad crappy places like BH, it's really all about the playoffs.
