I see you have no sense of morality or understanding of what is considered acceptable. No wonder you can not comprehend that you insulted the Newton team and coaches with your first statement and are not man enough to admit it. We need to get this off the thread. I will gladly continue with pm's if you desire. Just ask yourself, "Would I say 'pi&&ing match' in church ?" And yes in Newton it is considered a 'bad word', the same as calling someone chihuahua is name calling.

Finally back at the computer in South Texas. Not much you can say about this one except total domination by Newton in all phases of the game.

Last week I saw Refugio kick an onside kick when they were up 35-0, go for a 4th and goal rather than kick a field goal when up 42-0, and throw a bomb to the endzone late in the fourth quarter when up 70-7. Nothing like that from Newton, just played hard clean football start to finish, starters or subs.

Can't speak to Cameron Yoe's ranking visa vis Newton in the 2A Div1 polls, haven't seen them play, but I can guarantee you that those who vote Refugio ahead of Newton in the mixed 2A polls that don't separate Div 1 and Div 2 haven't seen both teams play. Newton is a more complete team than Refugio.

By all appearances the coaches, players, and fans of both teams handled their respective success or lack thereof with grace and class. Interesting that the smack and spat on this thread is not between Newton and EC.

Hope EC can put this one behind them and get back on track.
