Bronco, call it what you want....Gage is getting his subs valuable playing time and treating it seriously.  Your Buddy Stewart did the same thing and any coaching staff who feel that have a chance to make a playoff birth will train and train and that's what he's doing.  Sorry you understand it and sorry you feel it unclassy.

Good Game BH sorry I couldn't make the trip ,but I knew it was going to be ugly. One week to rest and scout then District begins ;)

Classy is after that kid got hurt they put Dolan on the bench for the rest of the game. The head of the defense done before halftime. Gage just wanted to see if Justin could throw. Testing the water. I again hope that kid comes out with a clean easy to reset break. Hate seeing any kid hurt like that.

[/quote] Towards the end of the Lumberton game they scored their only touchdown while committing an offensive penalty. Coach Gage declined the penalty so Lumberton could keep their points. That was classy.
Tonight, something with the referees or Porter got coach Gage's dander up. He was still angry about it at the end of the game.
Our 2nd and third strings played from midway through the 3rd qtr on both sides of the ball. We shouldn't begrudge them the right to keep scoring just because we are so far ahead. Our young players got a lot of valuable playing time and experience. Congrats to #25 on scoring his 1st varsity touchdown!

Having said that, it was somewhat of a sloppy game on our part. We wouldn't have scored so many points except for the fact that they were so bad.

I am sure we will be ready for Dayton in two weeks.

Not much parity in this district. Either you are one of the four decent teams or you are one of the four really bad teams.
