With all that the talent returning for Silsbee(C.Elam, J.Holmes, D.Wilson, J.Dobbins, P.Reed, Z.Jackson) plus the re-addition of Da'Vaughn Thomas....... Who do you guys predict will be the best man on the team? What are you guys prediction of their record this season? And how far will they go?

donte and Zay will handle the ball in clutch moments Jornis the #! option on the team Chris and Von will get 12-15 points a night Jake and pat will be the inside rebounders and put backs, Joseph and Tre haynes are the shooters on the team, Silsbees goal is to put up 100 shot a game

That could very likely happen. I can see Silsbee defeating Huffman 1st round and either Yates or West Columbia 2nd round which would put Silsbee playing football on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1. That would also have the football/basketball players missing YMBL tourney.

It's my understanding that they play each other on that date. Been playing the following Tuesday after the Fred Williams Classic the last several years.

Etc....


Silsbee should have a solid group. I agree with Aggie, they SHOULD still be playing football on December 1st.

Dobbins is that guy that most really good teams have.  You know the guy who doesn't look all that great, so you underestimate him, but he can really play.  Always seems to be in the right spot, come up with loose balls, etc.  Think:  Kurt Rambis, Chucky Brown, Shane Battier, etc.

He's a glue guy
