Dayton vs Porter

Dayton puts them away early and hopefully stays healthy. Look for another running clock the second half. Not a knock on porter but after watching them friday I see no way for them to keep this game close. Also they had an offensive lineman get a nasty injury I wish him a good recovery.

Well if 2nd and 3rd string in game, that's how other team may score. KP scored on SC with 2nd and 3rd string defense in game

I would normally agree with you but kp put up 50+ on this team. Humble got their only win against them. I really think dayton will have to be very nice to not be ahead by 35 or 42 by halftime. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

After watching porter I dont see how their qb has thrown for 1200 yds. Against bh he had time to throw and was not even close on most of his passes. Maybe he was just off but it looked like he was just throwing the ball up for grabs.

[/quote]Because Porter throws over 40 times per game and has played below average or dreadful competition prior to BH.  Probably a lot of yards in blowout games, and against teams like Humble and Caney Creek who don't have defenses.

[/quote]that wasnt even the worst of it. Bh bought in their starting qb  it was 4 and 5 from their 40 and was either just trying a hard count or was actually going to go for it. Bh got porter to jump offside and scored a couple of plays later. At the time the score was 48-0 in the 4th quarter. I didnt understand why bh didnt just punt. I guess they were trying to really run the score up or prove something.

I agree if it was dayton I wouldnt expect anything less from bh. Im sure dayton will do the same thing given the chance. This wasnt dayton though it was a winless porter. I guess bh is a big bad bully  now. Just to clear things up I was with family from bh and they thought it was cheap to.
