Would WOS Win DISTRICT in 4A This Year

Nederland was 11-2 last year. I definitely think wos would compete, it would be close games with Vidor and Nederland but I think they would finish 3rd or 4th depending on whether they could beat Livingston which we will never know, meanwhile WOS will their hands full when when the 3a playoffs start.

Why...why...why start this nonsense again? Instead of being so interested in our mythical chances in 20-4A, why not give more focus to what's in front of the Mustangs...like FIRST winning district, THEN game planning against playoff teams in THREE-A. Can't you be satisfied with the 3A classificiation and the strength of competition in the playoffs? There are more than a few teams in 3A capable of beating WO-S...yes, even THIS year.

Well you brought up Silsbee and they got beat by the second to last team in that district this year at home. It doesn't matter on the should've, could've they didn't win is all that counts. Just figured I would throw some facts into the conversation. The nerve of me. ;D

I totally agree. The same is true of Memorial, Nederland, Vidor, and everyone else. Four more weeks fellas. Fans are fans, talk is cheap. Makes for a fun board though.

Who would they beat to get into the playoffs? Lost to PNG already, that would leave Livingston, Ozen, Central, Vidor, and Nederland. They would beat Lumberton and possibly LCM. I don't know else they played this year. Just don't see it for the Tigers.

Yes, speed does kill, but Nederland can run around you as well, Half of our touchdown passes this year have been a two yard route and let the reciever out run the defense, just we choose to not use our speed and just run over you instead

This is tradition for some WOS fans.  They have to talk up the team pretty good before the playoffs so when they fail in the playoffs it is epic.  Like last year prior to the Coldspring game.  We would have never beat them.  Then what happened.  I can tell u one thing if they make it to the regional championship game they are gonna get all they want and then some.  Because that team will be very battle tested with LaMarque, Navasota, and Coldspring on the other side.

At least we make the playoffs..any team is battle tested included the Mustangs if they make it that far. We don't have to talk our team up, our record on the field for the past 30 years does that. I believe that Coldspring, LaMarque, and Navasota have had their share of epic fails also in that 30 year period. Most Mustang fans respect those team, our players certainly do.

I don't think WO-S is as good this year as they were last year--Offfense is not that good. Nederland is better then they were last year--Nederland beat WO-S last year.  Nederland is the better team this year.

NEDERLAND  IS THE BEST TEAM. I have done a mock computerised game between this years WO-S and NEDERLAND and NEDERLAND won 17 to 3.
