Tebow Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 I dont know the answer but would like to get input from the forum. Is it more important to play a kid that is a decent 2nd setter than play her as a defensive player on back row where she is the strongest. Team is stuggling defensively and it seem to make sense to play your best defensive players, not be a setter. I believe we have other girls that could set..
blessedx3 Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 In my opinion setting is harder to do than most people think. However, I have learned that it all starts with a "good" or "perfect" pass to the setter. That first pass or "up" must be consistently good for the setter to do her job.
Texasminuteman Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Depends if your're running a 5-1 or a 6-2.Nevertheless by all means play the better position.
