[/quote]Yes Buna Could have hurt thier chance by losing to BC even though they were up 24 to 0 and let BC come back for the win. Now they will have to have some help even if they win out except WOS. no way will they win that game

Assuming WOS and Silsbee win out until they meet, wouldn't BC have to lose to both HJ and Orangefield and Buna would have to beat OF to get in.

Buna would have to beat OF by more than 4 and then OF would have to beat BC by less than what Buna beat them.  Buna better stay healthy against WOS.  Who knows.  Maybe they sit some kids to keep them healthy.

I don't see Buna Making the playoffs. Making the jump from 2A to 3A especially to the district they are in, we pretty much knew was not going to happen. Buna can hold up in the district though they just need some time.

I kinda get tired of hearing that. I've seen several people say that. I dont understand the whole "Welcome to 3a" comments. Lets be honest here folks, besides wos and silsbee, this district is not very good. Most of the teams in the 2a district would beat them. Newton,EC, kville, anahuac,  Buna..look at the scores over the last few years with the 3as...2a has won most of em. In my opinion buna had a better shot at making payoffs in 3a than in 2a. We finished 4th or 5th in 2a. Without blowing a 24-0 lead against BC, were one game away from making playoffs. I dont really think there is much of a "jump" if any from that dustrict to this one. Newton and EC whipped us after tgat it was everybody fight for 3rd. Wos and silsbee' have replaced them and now were in the same boat. I'm  not claiming buna to be great, I just think some people think this district is better than it really is.

Which is why i wish nothing good this year for Buna. You got on this board talking all kinds of crap of how its no difference. You might have been up 24 on BC but in the end you were down. Thats what counts.  Get it straight yall didnt give BC anything. BC came out second half and TOOK that game from yall. Yall can compete this year. Better hang on to that cause if BC Oranfefield or HF have a really good team like they do often yall will be in serious trouble. Cant believe i let dome of you Buna folks get me upset. Just funny how you down play everyone and act like yalls crap dont stink. Oh by the way cant wait til y'all meet Hayden Guidry this year. We'll see if there's no difference then either. Newton could take on quite a bit of 3A teams. Buna making the Jump to 3A was going to be problematic for them. They weren't a dominating team in 2A like Newton. Again I believe Buna can hang but they just need some time. They will get there.

Buna doesn't have time to work on 3a competitiveness. There numbers have already dropped back to 2a numbers.  They won't be the big dog in this district in any sport but they will compete.
