I doubt when the game is over there will be a number as small as 17 beside Carthage's name on their "small" scoreboard.  They are too good on offense.  Just check the last 5 years results.

I kinda think this is gonna be a low-scoring game. Jasper is as good as any defense Carthage has seen, if not the best. I'll take Jasper by a milkbone, 14-13. It's gonna be a good one...

This is not a given.Jasper does have a desent defense and might be closer than most think.

Jasper's offense will have to "click" to beat carthage..The defense will keep jasper in the game..I hate to put it on one player but the qb will have to make play's in the passing game for jasper to win.  Our offensive line will have trouble like they did against wos.  I hate the fact that the only other quality team we have played up to this point is wos..(no disrespect ment)  We have either blown teams out or lost, our closest win was 21-7 against BC.  If jasper does'nt turn the ball over and Carthage has 3 turnovers jasper will win.

I believe Jasper's defense has improved under Barbay and if Jasper can avoid turnovers I think Jasper has a real shot.

I am sure Jasper isn't looking for moral victories in this one.  They will be coming to Carthage believing they can win.  They will be the underdog in a hostile environment against a team with 3 recent State Championships...in the voice of Gimli--"What are we waiting for?"
