Why doesn't Nederland go back to playing split the pot? I don't want a Wally World gift certificate.

I realize where the proceeds go, I just think more people would play and buy more chances if the reward was cash and more than $250......resulting in more money for project celebration.

The administration at New Caney stopped it all together after the second home game this year due to a complaint that it was gambling. Errrr, some people.....

I believe this was the reasoning for Nederland as well, or atleast that is what I have been told.

Most schools pressure you to donate your winnings back to pro grad. Bush league tactic. If you sell the tix, be willing to hand out the prize!
