Who steps up for Colmesneil this year and who is coming up that needs to step up?

dnt know much about colmensniel. they havent been that good in the past...so dont expect much, hope for 3rd in that district theyre in

I know they have a couple of good players coming from the J.V. and they have a 7 ft. center.

Heard the 7'1" center, Brandon Cowart, has been playing AAU ball with the Houston Celtics all summer and fall. Supposedly improved waaaaay beyond expectations.

That is what I have been told. Going to check out a couple of Colmesneil games this year to see for myself.

Yep and he's still growing. Since the end of basketball season last year, he's shot from 6'9" to 7'1" and put on about 25 lbs in muscle.

[/quote]Just ran into the kid walking around with a basketball. yeah he's about a 7 footer. Didn't realize it's the same kid playing with the Celtics.

Most kids his size are termed "potential" players in today's basketball world. Deandre Jordan with the Clippers comes to mind. Many bigs mature late for basketball. Some coaches are willing to have the patience. Who knows, he might hit his "spurt" his rookie year in the NBA  8)
