If Nederland makes it deep enough to play Dawson, I think they would stand a chance. They gave Dawson all they wanted and more last year, and they have the potential to do it again.

Navasota will more than likely go DIV I because Taylor isn't doing all that great & play Madisonville & Navasota for the last two games & go 1-4, they also lost to Caldwell, one of the worst area teams around.

Nederland has a very good shot to make it to state. We have the best defense in the state, and probably the biggest front 4 in all the state of Texas. Our front four makes our linebackers and secondary better. We have a quarterback who is a three year starter so he's been there before, and we have a very good running game. Who's to say Nederland doesnt have a very good chance of making it to state? I think we our the best team in the state in class 4A.

Angleton has already lost 1 or 2 games they shouldn't have lost, I believe. If we play Angleton again we will beat them. They were the better team when we played them in non-district, but if we match up with them again in the playoffs, we'll blow 'em out.

Nederland's a good team, but the best in all of 4A? When there are teams like Pearland Dawson, Aledo and Tyler John Tyler out there?

I think Nederland's a good third round pick and maybe a fourth round team, and there's potential for a state championship run, but the odds are against them. There's a reason they play the games and I'll be rooting for the Bulldogs come playoff time, but I don't think it's realistically a state year.

I agree with you. They have a chance, I just worry about what happens if they meet a team that can match size with them but has more speed. I'll be rooting for them though.
