Any Lumberton fans know why they scraped the wing-t offense after running it for only 1 year? This offense seems like it would benefit Lumberton the same as it has Vidor seeing that both have similar atheletes. I know it took us several years as with any new offense to get it rolling at all levels.

First it is the slot T. The offense is similar to wing t, but has several other wrinkles. 2nd if you do not believe in an offense then it won't work. Seems to me they did not buy in to it or like it. You are right it gives Vidor the BEST chance to win.

Wrong it was the slot t...I know coach C. Not to mention that one of my nephew's played for them.

Well then he certainly ran a different version of the "slot t" then we did cuz I sure saw some formations from them that aren't slot t formations.

They actually do. Up to about week two of district they had a player in the top 5 of passing rushing and receiving stats.
