NDNation Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 There are no PN-G fans on this thread trying to down Vidor or take anything away from their win. We have all congratulated them. Overall I would say this is a pretty friendly thread. And as far as paybacks...I think we all knew that Vidor would hand us our butts..no surprise there. I'm sure the feeling would have been better for Vidor if they had ransacked a good PN-G team. Games like this don't really help you prepare for the playoffs and are no test for whats to come.
prepballfan Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Forgive 1987 he is a child on here as you can tell by his posts.
thedogs1987 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 prepballfan....I manned up when NDNation called me out for Vidor poster saying "run up the score," to which I agreed in post last night.(I am sure there are not many PNG "posters" who like me when I stood up at beginning of season for their OWN PNG QB. I stated the obvious that their defense need the most attention (to which I was told by PNG "posters" that I didn't know what I was talking about). The season is proof, QB (in question) put 50 points on Central to which the defense couldnt hold them to UNDER 50.)It seemed like a lot of belly aching about NED fans not liking/supporting PNG, ,quoting NDNation "the bulldogs fans on here never seem to root for us"If yall cant handle a little good humor, then maybe you should call bamakid.....youll have a lot to talk about.Good JOB VIDOR.

Ok Im behind Vidor the rest of the way unless they somehow meet Nederland again then Ill have to go with Nederland. Best of luck Pirates into the playoffs.
WHY????
PNG and Nederland may have a huge rivalry, but some of PNG's best friends are in Nederland, likewise with Nederland, and if you live in either one of those towns, you probably have family in the other one. We are a tight community all but one week a year.
Iv'e always rooted for Nederland except for MCM, but the bulldog fans on here never seem to root for us...in this very thread one said run up the score on PN-G. When Vidor and Nederland played at the first of the season...a Pirate fan started thread about how the PN-G fans supported Nederland...but still they take pot shots at us at every turn. If Vidor and Nederland meet up in the playoffs...Vidor Pirates...Smoke'em!
prepballfan Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 I love good humor it seems you are the one who does not ;)
NDNation Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 And to give Vidor even more props...You hung 49 on us where Nederland could only manage 35. I think if Vidor played Nederland at this point in the season..the outcome would be different.
jake94 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012
And to give Vidor even more props...You hung 49 on us where Nederland could only manage 35. We are able to slow down their running game and force them to pass which is not their strong suit. That is why we beat them. They are very good, but I feel that Ned is a more complete team because we can run and throw and have a defense that is well equipped to slow down the Pirates.
PNG Proud Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Nederland IS a more complete team, IMO. As good as Vidor is (and they really are) when they face a team with a real run defense, they are going to be in big trouble. In the playoffs, you've got to be able to perform all functions well, or you are out.
NDOMAKONG Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 If Nederland played Vidor again, the Dogs would win by more, D. wash would be full time on defense and the O line would have two straight games under their belt, the outcome would NOT be different and likely worse. These Dogs get up for big games... and they will have one come week 11 we will be ready.

Yes Nederland did present a problem with us but 2 of there td drives were because we made mistakes( aka penalties) and they capitalized on it. No excuses here. Ned won the game fair and square but our mistakes did help them.
BigNedNOLA Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Does it really matter who scored more points on PN-G, comparing scores doesn't really prove anything, Nederland beat Vidor 20-13, so it's already been established that Ned is the better team.
NDOMAKONG Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Nederland would force more.mistakes and convert again, Nederland is the best team in 204A this year, that is certain, only question is are they the best team in 194a, that will be decided in week 11
prepballfan Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 The answer to that question is yes they are better than 19-4a and I dont say that lightly but they have proven themselves.

Not too hard to defend us when everyone in the stadium knows where the pass is going. >:(
And Caleb Clark is nowhere to be seen on offense. I mean the kid has 4.37 speed in the 40 and just plays cornerback....I would want to get him the ball on offense, we've seen what he can do on a kick or punt return....

No one on that field ran a 4.3 Friday night. 4.3 speed gets colleges looking at you even if you can't play a lick of football.
NDNation Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Clark is how we put points on the board against WOS...when he gets in the open field..that boy can haul butt.
12gage Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 You guys in png need to be able to tell time , there in no one in the city limits of groves or port niches that runs a 4.37
exfactor Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 12 gage, I've said this many, many times in the past. You are clueless and have no idea what you are talking about on any post that you have ever made.
12gage Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 I might be clueless but there is still no one at png that runs a 4.37, and as a matter of record I am not as clueless as you,an expert are!
77 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Not many pros run a 4.3 like I said they need to check that clock!
