As of the fourth quarter against HJ, Silsbee has scored 358. WO-S has scored 316.

Silsbee's avg. score is 40-17.

He is a Junior and will be available to play in the 2nd round of the playoffs if we are fortunate enough to get there. He is a 6'0" speedster and give WOS some break away speed at RB.

I find it hard to believe that he would play this year. I think it would have to be a team vote if he did. You don't mess with chemistry.

Normally, I would too. But this is a little different situation than normal. He is from WOS and all of the players know him. If they did put it to a vote, I think they would vote "yes".

If the mustangs continue to play turnover free football they will walk out of silsbee with an easy W!!! If they play sloppy football it could be a decent game. But either way wos wins. Too good on defense and special teams! Our offense has literally gotten better every single week and our defense well everyone knows about the defense! And I honestly think silsbee will bring out the best in the mustangs! With all this said:

I'm still on the fense about any improvement on offense because we haven't faced a decent defense in district.Silsbee should give us a better guage as to our improvement in that area.No doubt there is improvement for the number of games we played...I'm just not sure how much, as some of you are.

[/quote]This post remind`s me of a game WOS played a few weeks ago.  The team WOS played held-out their starting QB, for that game.  The coach didn`t  want his best player to go up against those "ANIMALS" (a.k.a.) "THE CHAIN GANG".  I think this would be a good idea for Silsbee this Friday.  Next week Silsbee will be in the play-off`s and all of us hope they can put their best team on the field.  I pray for the safety of all of the kids in this game.

I agree! Keep the kids healthy but you never walk away from a game where district is on the line! I'd prefer the starters to play most of the game. If Silsbee beats WOS, they will go 4 rounds deep!
