Post your nominees for Offensive and Defensive players of week for week 8.

Here are some offensive nominees:

Ricky Fisk, Port Arthur Memorial quarterback
Fisk threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 129 yards in the Titans’ 35-0 win against Baytown Sterling.

Ashton Hunter, Bridge City running back
Hunter ran for 176 yards and one touchdown in the Cardinals’ 13-0 win against Hardin-Jefferson.

Justin Moore, Vidor running back
Moore rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the Pirates’ 49-13 win against Port Neches-Groves.

Jimmy Salter, West Orange-Stark quarterback
Salter had four touchdowns — three running, one passing — in the Mustangs’ 40-0 win against Buna.

Alex Sezer, Little Cypress-Mauriceville running back
Sezer ran for 111 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears’ 37-6 win against Lumberton.

Michael Shaw, Nederland wide receiver/defensive back
Shaw had four receptions for 59 yards and one touchdown, two rushes for 42 yards and one interception returned for 62 yards in the Bulldogs’ 35-0 win against Ozen.

Floyd Spearman, Silsbee running back
Spearman rushed for 112 yards and four touchdowns in the Tigers’ 49-18 win against Hamshire-Fannett.
