I really didn't think Iola was going to be as tough as they were. Hayden Martinez is a do-it-all player at QB and safety. HD shut him down along with their 6'7" tight end. John Kay, their tailback is a very good player and was the reason the Bulldogs hung around with the Bobcats. I haven't seen Colmesneil this year at all, but I'm hearing good things and I know they have alot of experience now. Colmesneil will have to limit Martinez and stop the big play if they want to win. Iola is big and physical.  I see it....

Iola - 41

Colmesneil - 22

Great post lol doesn't really line up with the score you put though. I think if Iola doesn't get pressure on Bailey, Colmesneil wins by 2-4 TD's. if they do, it will be close. I'm saying it falls somewhere in between

Colmesneil 32
Iola 21
[/quote]Ok.... lol. Iola has studs, Colmesneil not so much. Colmesneil has played all garbage teams. You will see this friday night and next friday night. Iola and HD are going to crush Colmesneil. You will be MIA on this website.  ;D Keep smoking that Colmesneil stuff, 2-4 TD's. LMAO!  ::)

By saying Colmesneil has no studs, that just proves you haven't watched a single game Colmesneil has played. Matt Bailey, the best quarterback in the district, is a stud. Bryce Rains, the best receiver in the district, is a stud. I heard you say in a prior post that Calvin Ridge was in the top 4 athletes in the district, along with Hollywood and two HD kids. Well, Rains made him look silly. Twice. Carl Parker, Colmesneil's middle linebacker, is the most physical player in the district. He's a man child. If Martinez thinks he's going to have a field day running up the middle, he's sadly mistaken.
Colmesneil 42, Iola 24.

It would be clearly arrogant to say that colmesneil has no studs.
Like someone said before, Matt bailey is the best QB in the district. And also, colmesneil's o-line is so well coached that he's rarely touched. He's destructive when he has the time to do so. And with a receiver like rains, (even with all other teams triple covering him), I see colmesneil surprising everyone. Although Martinez is a lot to talk about. Iola is a team to watch. This will be a close game.

Colmesneil 21

Iola 14

Like was stated....arrogance. And at its finest! You think too highly of this district in general.

    • Are you really gonna talk about decorum from a President while supporting the guy who effectively has no such decorum? Just last night the former president (and would-be despot) was in Arizona talking with Tucker Carlson and fantasized about Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad… after calling her dumb, of course.     Trump didn’t just “defecate all over the office of the President”…. He is a piece of excrement.
    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
