Hmmm- IF they beat every team they play in the tourney such as Kountze and Kingwood Park (last year) wouldnt that be a positive reflection on the team?

To follow up, Texpreps Basketball do predict Longview to finish 4th in district and make playoffs.

The coach for Longview is Billy Goffney, former New Waverly coach. Longview was 11-16, 3-7 in district but did qualify for the playoffs last year, losing in 1st round to A&M Consolidated. The Lobos do return a '6"4, '6"5 and '6"7 starters from last year.

I really like Coach Goffney and I believe he will be building a good basketball program in Longview.
