So if I understand correctly and the season plays out the way most people here think it will, these will be the playoff games right?

If so these are all very intriguing games. There is no sure fire winner in any of these 4 potential games. Both division I games will be very competitive of course, but I think LCM vs. Crosby would be a great one to watch too.

I agree that you could make an argument to put Central in the 4th spot over LCM, we'll see what happens this weekend. If Central were to get in at 4th in district would they end up a division I or II team? Too lazy to look it up, on my phone :P

I think I may go watch BC and LCM fight for a playoff spot.  Because SC and BH is points win or lose SC plays dayton for first place and district.

Depends on SC/Dayton game in week 10. The winner would face Vidor and loser faces Nederland as long as Central doesn't make playoffs. There's still different scenarios.

The Central vs LCM game and the Dayton vs Summer Creek game will eventually determine the seedings.  A Central victory could put Vidor into division 2.  Nederland will get the loser of the Dayton vs Summer Creek game.

If I was a Vidor fan I'd be praying to the football gods for a Central win this weekend. That'd make their first round match-up much easier IMO

Hoping LC-M makes it. No way Central would make it out of the 1st round in Div 1. Vidor and Nederland are the best match ups for SC and Dayton and would give 20-4A a better chance. The Livingston and BH match-up is anyone's game. I think Crosby will have the edge with the LC-M matchup.

A little off topic, but I know that Livingston has clinched a playoff spot with a 4-1 record, 2 games to play and Vidor hasn't, with the same record and 2 games to play?  I'm assuming that's because Livingston has nailed down a spot in D2, while Vidor would go D1, (unless Central somehow gets in), is this correct?

The top 4 teams make the playoffs, then you decide who is d1 and d2. I haven't checked who has clinched besides Nederland, if Livingston has in fact secured a spot and Vidor hasn't it must come down to who Vidor could possibly lose to and the tie breakers that would be involved, but it has nothing to do with d1 or d2.

I remember a few years back seeing Texas City and Terry playing a game  that ended in the range of 9-6 (a TC win) and thinking that the offenses were terrible. The next week TC beat dayton 35-21, beat Brenham the next week in a shootout and the lost to LM (state champ that year) in the regional final.

Moral of the story. Don't be surprised if it isn't "EASY".
