The Mighty Pirates will play whomever wherever in the playoffs. Justin Moore is back running strong and the team is healthy. I would just as soon play a tough team in the first round. This is football!!!

Because Livingston has all ready beat anyone they could tie with and would have head to head tie breaker over them... Vidor has not ... A win over Livingston clinches Vidor a Playoff spot.... If Central wins they will go Div 1 due to attendance... Vidor would then go div 2... If LCM wins Vidor goes in Div 1. .

Vidor has (H)Livingston and (A)LC-M left to play...

Scenario 1v1

Dayton vs Central (I'll take Dayton)
Nederland vs SC (not touching this one with a 20 foot poll)
Crosby vs livingston (would be an awesome game... two teams that stop the run and run the ball)
BH vs. Vidor (GN BH)

i'd predict a 1-1 with 2 games that will decide which district does better, probably a split with Nederland beating SC and Crosby beating Livingston.

1v2

Dayton vs. Vidor Dayton again
SC vs. Nederland same as above

Crosby v. LCM Crosby... would be the favorite i'd think
BH vs. Livingston I'd take BH with this matchup... those boys can stop big run teams, Crosby is their Achilles but they have a good defense.

2v1

SC v. Central SC
Dayton vs. Nederland (What a show down... I'd take Nederland despite playoff histories)

Crosby vs. Livingston same above
BH v. Vidor same above

This scenario i i think that 20-4a has an edge... and its a 2-1 with one toss-up game Crosby/Livingston

2v2

SC vs. Vidor
Dayton vs. Nederland

Crosby vs. LCM
BH vs. Livingston

I honestly believe this would be the most competitive set of games possible... SC vs Vidor's run game... Dayton's prestige vs. Nederlands State contender, Crosby vs. LCM to schools that are similar in they've had bumps but both are explosive offenses, and Livingston vs BH huge Rush defense vs Great rushing attacks... would be a fantastic game.

Agree with the first statement... disagree with the second statement... honestly LCM v Crosby, and BH vs. Livingston are prolly both 19-4a wins.

Cougtalk, you have totally over-rated the difficulty of 19-4A. 19-4A is a lot like America, a dwindling middle class. Loaded at the top and an ever expanding LOWER class. Playing 3 quality opponents out of 8 district games does not prepare you for the playoffs. 20-4A is a more talented district top to bottom. Don't sleep on 20-4A. I'm not saying any 20-4A team will beat a 19-4A team in the playoffs, but all four of the match-ups will be competitive.

I saw Crosby play Dayton and im not saying Crosby is a bad team or anything, but I believe LCM will be a competitive game for Crosby.

if you flip the teams in DI w/ DII; it's woudl be a 50/50 split between the two districts for DI (ned over cros; vidor over bh) and in DII (dayton over LCM and SC over Livingston)

the way it's going to play out, all the teams are more equally matched overall
