Manvel didn't have an advantage on Dayton last year? If coaching is relatively equal those 6 or 700 extra kids make a big difference. Brenham does have good talent, my cousin told me Brown is already the third best tackle on the team as a true freshman. Even though he was rated second I thought he was the best d-tackle in the country after watching him at the All-America game. Let's be honest though, Brenham gets a big advantage with the district y'all play in and you always go D2. Only two team you have to worry about on the schedule most years are Huntsville and Montgomery. I think if y'all played down here that record wouldn't look so pristine. bronco pride
The thing about d1 enrollment numbers is that some schools like a manvel were just below the 4a cutoff before redistricting. That area was groing so fast that by last year they were well into 5a enrollment #s. I think the same thing will happen with sc. The higher your enrollment the better talent you have to pick from. There are exceptions like aledo with jg. JG gave aledo the ability to play with anyone but there might not ever be a player like him again. We can play with and occasionally beat both of them. If you don't believe me, ask songone. it looks pretty even when we scrimmage every year. As for LT.... $ = $ucce$$, and they have a lot of both. Brown was the nation's #2 DT, but during the all-American game practices he had already passed Goldsmith. After it was all said and down, he was eventually ranked #1. They showed the practices on ESPNU. As far as our district goes, we don't just win din district games. In the last 4 years were 40-6 all together. That's district, non-district & playoffs combined. I'd say we do well no matter who we play. TAPPS 4AD2 to 5A, we beat more than 90% of the teams we play. BTW, we go D2 cuz we have to. Heck, we have 1,436 kids, and are the eighth biggest of the nine schools in 18-4A.

K Park would've been out in a 3-way tie scenario with BH and Crosby based on points - no matter what. Crosby was +18 over BH and BH was +18 over K Park. Secondly, since we're playing "ifs." if Crosby hadn't turned the ball over 3 times, K Park wouldn't have had that many chances. But like I said, none of that mattered.
